Personal Interests

GRACE Christian Music Festival-- GRACE is a faith-based community event and Christian Music Festival organized by hundreds of volunteers who attend more than forty churches encompassing twelve denominations - and we are still growing! This unique event features national and independent Christian recording artists performing contemporary, alternative, traditional gospel, southern gospel and more - all with a Christian witness. We are blessed to have a community like Pensacola to open its heart to this one-of-a-kind Christian Event.

Current Pensacola Weather-- Link to the Weather Channel current conditions and forecast for the Pensacola area. Jealous, aren't you?

Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church -- This is the WWW site of my local church. If you are ever visiting the Pensacola Beach area, come check it out. We love visitors.

Love For Peru Foundation--I am on the board of directors for this very worthwhile cause. Look here for some photos of recent medical mission trips with LFP.

Kappa Alpha Order -- This is the web site of my college fraternity.  Much of my belief in truth and honor is embodied in the KA mission statement.

NASA -- Who couldn't get excited seeing what wonderful things NASA is doing. Great photos and information about the space program and astronomy.

National Rifle Association -- I am a firm believer in the Constitution, the WHOLE thing. If you believe the Founding Fathers intended all the Bill of Rights to be respected, you should join the NRA.

Republican National Committee-- Although no political party will ever satisfy everyone, I believe in personal responsibility, and the need for every citizen to try to better themselves, for the good of themselves and their families.  In my opinion, the Republican party is more attuned to such beliefs.

Computers & Other Stuff

Daily Gadget-- Information, news and discussions involving all sorts of personal technology (PDA's, computers, cameras, MP3 players, mobile phones, etc.). I serve as one of the moderators.

Wessalmon.com-- "The personal ramblings of Wes Salmon", one-time webmaster of PDABuzz.com, and all-around good guy. Hosts a loose community of people interested in computers and PDAs.

X5World.com-- Guide to some of the more common things that current and potential BMW X5 owners want to know about the Ultimate Sports Activity Vehicle. This site also serves as an information warehouse for modifications that BMW X5 enthusiasts have made to their particular SAV.

Medical Sites

American College of Emergency Physicians -- Home page of the primary society representing the specialty of Emergency Medicine. Good place to go for information on the field, with news releases, position papers and listings of upcoming conferences and events. Also contains good links to additional sites of interest, such as medically oriented software.

eMedicine Online Text-- An electronic-only Emergency Medicine reference text, written by a large number of practicing Emergency Physicians (including me). You can't get more up to date than this, folks.

National Center for Emergency Medicine Informatics--  This is a fantastic single-source location for multiple tools and links to additional information related to Emergency Medicine.  If you only have one link for Emergency Medicine on your browser, it should be this.
