Mission Trips
I have been blessed to be able to participate in several medical mission trips over the past few years, and plan to continue doing so as long as I can.
2007--April 21-29, 2007. We continued the work in Lima, treating over 1250 patients! Our team included plastic and orthopaedic surgeons, pediatricians, emergency physicians, family doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, CRNA's, nurses, paramedics, EMTs and multiple support staff. It was a resounding success.
2006--Another mission trip to Lima, Peru. Major pediatric emphasis, with surgical and medical teams working at a children's hospital, as well as the shantytowns on the outskirts of Lima. CLICK HERE to see more about this most recent trip.

In 2003, I was not able to do a mission trip, for personal reasons. 2004 was to include a mission trip to Peru in September. Unfortunately, Hurricane Ivan came to visit our area, and delayed our mission trip until Feb 2005.
In 2002, I stayed within the USA, and went with another group to Rosebud Sioux Indian Reservation, in South Dakota.
In 2000 and 2001, I went with a group from my church to Guanaja, Bay Islands, Honduras (on the Atlantic side of Central America).
