Dr. Meade has been in the leadership role in virtually all aspects of Emergency & Tactical Medicine, over the past 25 years.

On the hospital side, Dr. Meade was Chief of Emergency Medicine for 10 years. He led a team that took a small department from 13,000 visits yearly, to nearly 27,000 visits, while dramatically reducing waiting times. Patient satisfaction increased, and patient care improved. Dr. Meade  currently works as a staff physician, maintaining his clinical skills and honing his art.

Dr. Meade is available, via his affiliation with HRM, to come to your facility and help your staff achieve levels of efficiency previously felt to be impossible. By focusing on the patient, and using “best practices”, your hospital staff will be happier and better able to treat everyone more effectively.

For most hospitals, EMTALA is a dirty word. Dr. Meade is an expert reviewer for Federal EMTALA investigations, and is available to share this expertise with those wishing to have proper policies and procedures.

In the world of Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Dr. Meade is a leader, as well.  From being Medical Director for multiple different EMS agencies, to overseeing a college EMS training program, to being an active member of a SWAT team, Dr. Meade knows EMS and its Tactical variant. He is on the state committee to write protocols for EMS. In teaching for Suarez International, his own SWAT Medic certification courses, and others, Dr. Meade strives to share ways to help save patients and keep caregivers safe.
